Come now, you rich, weep
ὀλολύζοντες ἐπὶ ταῖς ταλαιπωρίαις ὑμῶν ταῖς ἐπερχομέναις.
and howl for the miseries that are coming upon you.

and will eat your flesh like fire.

Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you,
καὶ αἱ βοαὶ τῶν θερισάντων εἰς τὰ ὦτα κυρίου σαβαὼθ εἰσεληλύθασιν.
and the cries of the harvesters have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts.
ἐτρυφήσατε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς
You have lived on the earth in luxury
καὶ ἐσπαταλήσατε,
and in self- indulgence.
ἐθρέψατε τὰς καρδίας ὑμῶν ἐν ἡμέρᾳ σφαγῆς,
You have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter.

Why isn't vs6 followed up with another explanation of the coming judgment? Because the end of things is implied in what he encourages the "brother" with next.
You have made wealth your God.
You have abused others to expand your wallet.
Saving is not bad, but it is dangerous. Beware lest your savings be with too long-term a goal.
