Creation God works (i.e. creates), finishes his work and then rests to create the Shabbat Gen 2:1-3 God made man, pre-fall, to work. Gen 2:15. Man is given work primarily, woman made to help him. Be subject to and respect your master, even if they are unjust, because God is watching. 1Pet 2:16-20. Do not be an idle, busybody. Work quietly to earn your living. 2Thes 3:10-12.
