Meditation
We who have been chosen by God have a responsibility to spread the Good News but not just by what we say. (Even false prophets know the words to say.) To be effective ministers evangelists and missionaries our words must also come with the power of knowing we speak the Truth, and the power that comes from the Holy Spirit itself. We must speak and share the Truth of God's Word with assurance. We are waiting for Jesus' return, and as we wait, we are here to serve. Jesus has already secured our salvation, but we must work to demonstrate our faith. We serve others, putting their best interests above ours (Philippians 2:4). Our service to others should be a labor of love. We will be able to humble ourselves, giving and doing sacrificially, because of the hope that we have in our Savior.
