Notes
7:10 The Lord Jesus went eventually also up, once He knew that the time had come. But He went not up to show himself as His brothers wanted it, on the contrary, He went up without drawing attention to Himself. 7:11 The Jewish leaders sought Him, not to worship but to kill. Yet, they could only do what and when it was permitted by God Almighty. The time of Jesus's redemptive death for the people of the world had not come yet. Those who seek to worship the Lord Jesus are granted to find Him. 7:12-13 Some believed secretly in the Lord Jesus and would only take a stand by mumbling with others because of the fear of the Jewish leaders. The Jews had the power to make resisting people to social outcasts. Others believed that Jesus Christ was a deceiver and did the signs with trickery or through the power of evil.
