Notes
Once someone is in Christ, God is for him. That is marvelous! God is for the whole human family, how couldn't he by giving His precious son. Trust Him and you'll know that He is for you. God gave everything to us in His perfect image the Lord Jesus. If He has given us all things, be sure that He is completely for you! One who rejected God by going his selfish ways must be charged by going against his Creator and the purpose of creation. God's grace is shown to us by giving us Christ, in justifying us through Him. Christ took the charge against us on Himself and declared us righteous. Since Christ justified us, there is no condemnation on us. He died for our charge, rose for our justification, and is at the right hand of God interceding for us. Since God is for us, gave us all things in Christ, justified us, and took our condemnation from us, nothing can separate us from the love of Christ We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us! 31a-b in connection to Num 14:9. When God was for Israel, they were commanded to trust Him by not fearing the people. God was with them and the enemies are like bread for them. Their protection was removed. Fear not the world, that is the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life. The Lord has overcome it. He has defeated it, you can't defeat it by yourself. Fear of the world shows a lack of trust in the conquer our Lord Jesus. So my soul trust the Lord, He has conquered the world. 32a God did not spare His own son in that Christ died for us, the ungodly (Rom. 5:6). Same in Rom. 5:10, God reconciled us to Himself by the death of his Son - this is how he did not spare Him. 32b-c Christ was delivered up for us all and all our trespasses. Now, Christ was raised for our justification and with that, we received all things freely in Him (Rom. 4:25). 33a-b The justified knows God who vindicates and helps. No one can declare him guilty (Isa. 50:8-9). 34a-e There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Rom. 8:1) And here is why: Christ Jesus died for us - condemned for our sin! He rose form the death - conquered sin! He is at the right hand of God - Where He is, right now. He intercedes for us - What He does because of our weakness. 35-39 Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ! That is amazing! No matter what comes, the love of Christ is greater. Praise God for the victory in Christ!
