Ephesians 4:25-5:2
Therefore, a laying aside falsehood, b speak truth each one of you with his neighbor , for we are c members of one another.
Therefore, having put away falsehood,
Διὸ ἀποθέμενοι τὸ ψεῦδος
let each one of you u speak the truth with his neighbor,
λαλεῖτε ἀλήθειαν ἕκαστος μετὰ τοῦ πλησίον αὐτοῦ ,
for v we are members one of another.
ὅτι ἐσμὲν ἀλλήλων μέλη.
a Be angry , and yet do not sin ; do not let the sun go down on your anger,

καὶ μὴ ἁμαρτάνετε•

ὁ ἥλιος μὴ ἐπιδυέτω ἐπὶ [τῷ] παροργισμῷ ὑμῶν,

μηδὲ δίδοτε τόπον τῷ διαβόλῳ.
He who steals must steal no longer; but rather a he must labor, b performing with his own hands what is good, c so that he will have something to share with 1 one who has need.
Let the thief no longer steal,
ὁ κλέπτων μηκέτι κλεπτέτω,
but rather y let him labor,
μᾶλλον δὲ κοπιάτω
z doing honest work with his own hands,
ἐργαζόμενος ταῖς [ἰδίαις] χερσὶν τὸ ἀγαθόν,
so a that he may have something
ἵνα ἔχῃ
to share with anyone in need.
μεταδιδόναι τῷ χρείαν ἔχοντι.
Let no 1 a unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for b edification 2 according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear.
b Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths,
πᾶς λόγος σαπρὸς ἐκ τοῦ στόματος ὑμῶν μὴ ἐκπορευέσθω,
but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion,
ἀλλʼ εἴ τις ἀγαθὸς πρὸς οἰκοδομὴν τῆς χρείας,
that it may give c grace to those who hear.
ἵνα δῷ χάριν τοῖς ἀκούουσιν.
a Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, 1 by whom you were b sealed for the day of redemption.
And d do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, e by whom you were sealed for the day of f redemption.
καὶ μὴ λυπεῖτε τὸ πνεῦμα τὸ ἅγιον τοῦ θεοῦ, ἐν ᾧ ἐσφραγίσθητε εἰς ἡμέραν ἀπολυτρώσεως.
a Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be b put away from you, along with all c malice.

πᾶσα πικρία καὶ θυμὸς καὶ ὀργὴ καὶ κραυγὴ καὶ βλασφημία ἀρθήτω ἀφʼ ὑμῶν σὺν πάσῃ κακίᾳ.
a Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, b just as God in Christ also has forgiven 1 you.
h Be kind to one another, tenderhearted,
γίνεσθε [δὲ] εἰς ἀλλήλους χρηστοί, εὔσπλαγχνοι,
i forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
χαριζόμενοι ἑαυτοῖς, καθὼς καὶ ὁ θεὸς ἐν Χριστῷ ἐχαρίσατο ὑμῖν.
a Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children;
j Therefore be imitators of God,
Γίνεσθε οὖν μιμηταὶ τοῦ θεοῦ
as beloved children.
ὡς τέκνα ἀγαπητὰ
and a walk in love, just as Christ also b loved 1 you and c gave Himself up for us, an d offering and a sacrifice to God 2 as a e fragrant aroma.
And k walk in love,
καὶ περιπατεῖτε ἐν ἀγάπῃ,
l as Christ loved us and m gave himself up for us, a n fragrant o offering and sacrifice to God.
καθὼς καὶ ὁ Χριστὸς ἠγάπησεν ἡμᾶς καὶ παρέδωκεν ἑαυτὸν ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν προσφορὰν καὶ θυσίαν τῷ θεῷ εἰς ὀσμὴν εὐωδίας.
