Psalms 19:1-6
i The heavens declare the glory of God,
The glory of God is displayed in the heavens,
and the sky above 1 proclaims his handiwork.
and the heavens displays the beauty of the work of his hands.
Day to day pours out speech,
Day by day by means of speaking God's glory,
and night to night reveals knowledge.
and by night revealing the knowledge of God.
There is no speech,
As a result there is no speech,
nor are there words,
nor words,
whose voice is not heard.
that are not heard.
j Their k voice 1 goes out through all the earth,
Because their voices fill the earth, and build upon one another
and their words to the end of the world.
and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tent for l the sun,
Furthermore in them the Lord has set a special place for the sun,
m which comes out like n a bridegroom leaving his chamber,
just as a bridegroom emerging from his special bridal suite
and, like a strong man,
and a strong man,
runs its course with joy.
in that he joyful runs his course.
Its rising is from the end of the heavens,
for the sun rises to ends of the heavens,
and its circuit to the end of them,
and comes full circle to the end of them,[that all may see]
and there is nothing hidden from its heat.
and as a result nothing is hidden from its scorching presents.
It is passages like Psalms 19, that remind us of the magnitude of God's glory. It is so easy to forget as we go about our busy days, it can even become something we take for granted. Romans 1:19-21 takes this glory one step further to acknowledge that creation is a way God's power in the gospel is anchored. When we stop to observe God's glory in creation we should then remind ourselves that when we share the gospel to those who are lost it is the power of God that saves them and it is the power of God that saves us from glory to glory 2 Corinthians 3:18 Ultimately we see God's attributes and character, his power is beyond comprehension, his beauty more glorious than can be fathomed, and his love for those who are lost extendes to the furthest reach.
