"A Just Wrath" The three beacons of truth that I believe shine forth in these few verses are as follows: - v.19 "God has shown it to them (it: namely his glory) - v. 20 "So they are without excuse" - v. 23 "exchanged the glory of the immortal God for..." It is easier to wrap my mind around the wrath of God than it is to wrap my heart around it. This truth helps the glory of God's wrath to travel from my head to my heart. It helps in that it reveals that his wrath is just. God has shown his glory to all, all have exchanged it for something lesser, therefore, all are without excuse. cf. ps. 106:20; Jer. 2:11; acts 14:17; 17:24-27
