-Jesus fulfilled all prophesies concerning the Messiah. Since He was the Messiah He did everything that was written so that we could believe on Him and be saved. I think this is the whole point of Mark’s recount of Jesus sending His disciples to find a colt and enter Jerusalem sitting on it as Zechariah 9:9 speaks that the Messiah would come mounted on a colt. -The crowd that welcomed Jesus blessing Him and recognizing His connection to God served as a proof of what was also prophesied by the psalmist in Psalm 118:26 concerning the Messiah. . -God is so merciful that He revealed to us without any doubt that He is the Messiah, the Son of God who became flesh and dwelled among us. Praise be to His name forever and ever.
