The mega structure of this passage is reasons for His children to praise God who overflows, delighting to bless his children. Verse 3a is a declaration of praise. Verse 3b gives reason for that praise which is that God blesses his children with every spiritual blessing in the heavenlies. Then he goes on to give specific blessings that God gives his children. The three major subpoints of blessing are verses 4 - 6, 7 - 10, and 11 - 14. The first I would title Praise for making His children holy. The second, Praise for reconcilliation and unity. The third Praise for giving us an inheritance. It strikes me as significant that the verb 'predestined' in verse 5 is a participle and not a main verb like many translations tranlate it. Because of this, I took it as subordinate to the verb 'chose' in verse 4. The relationship I gave to the two propitions is that 5 grounds for. In other words the reason God chose us to be holy and blameless before Him is that He had predestined us to be adopted. In other word the heart of this is God's desire and delight to have a family. And because we bear the family name God has purposed to clean us up. Good news indeed! All this to the praise of the glory of his grace. This makes the most sense to me at this time. If it is indeed subordinate this is the only relationship that makes sense but I am still pondering. I am fuzzy on verses 7 through 10 as to some of the connections in there. I used the ESV but altered it where my translation differed.

Εὐλογητὸς ὁ θεὸς καὶ πατὴρ τοῦ κυρίου ἡμῶν Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
ὁ εὐλογήσας ἡμᾶς ἐν πάσῃ εὐλογίᾳ πνευματικῇ ἐν τοῖς ἐπουρανίοις ἐν Χριστῷ,
who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places,
καθὼς ἐξελέξατο ἡμᾶς ἐν αὐτῷ πρὸ καταβολῆς κόσμου,
even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world,
εἶναι ἡμᾶς ἁγίους καὶ ἀμώμους κατενώπιον αὐτοῦ ἐν ἀγάπῃ,
that we should be holy and blameless before him in love

ἐν ᾧ ἔχομεν τὴν ἀπολύτρωσιν διὰ τοῦ αἵματος αὐτοῦ, τὴν ἄφεσιν τῶν παραπτωμάτων,
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses,
κατὰ τὸ πλοῦτος τῆς χάριτος αὐτοῦ,
according to the riches of his grace,
ἧς ἐπερίσσευσεν εἰς ἡμᾶς ἐν πάσῃ σοφίᾳ καὶ φρονήσει γνωρίσας ἡμῖν τὸ μυστήριον τοῦ θελήματος αὐτοῦ,
which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will,
κατὰ τὴν εὐδοκίαν αὐτοῦ
according to his good pleasure,
ἣν προέθετο ἐν αὐτῷ εἰς οἰκονομίαν τοῦ πληρώματος τῶν καιρῶν, ἀνακεφαλαιώσασθαι τὰ πάντα ἐν τῷ Χριστῷ, τὰ ἐπὶ τοῖς οὐρανοῖς καὶ τὰ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς· ἐν αὐτῷ,
which he purposed in Himself as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.
ἐν ᾧ καὶ ἐκληρώθημεν
In him we have obtained an inheritance,
προορισθέντες κατὰ πρόθεσιν τοῦ τὰ πάντα ἐνεργοῦντος κατὰ τὴν βουλὴν τοῦ θελήματος αὐτοῦ,
having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,
εἰς τὸ εἶναι ἡμᾶς εἰς ἔπαινον δόξης αὐτοῦ τοὺς προηλπικότας ἐν τῷ Χριστῷ·
so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory.
ἐν ᾧ καὶ ὑμεῖς ἀκούσαντες τὸν λόγον τῆς ἀληθείας, τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τῆς σωτηρίας ὑμῶν, ἐν ᾧ καὶ πιστεύσαντες
In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him,
ἐσφραγίσθητε τῷ πνεύματι τῆς ἐπαγγελίας τῷ ἁγίῳ,

who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it,
