One Sentence Summary: "Jesus vindicates himself by resurrection so that even his weakest sheep can see and believe."

NT
John 20:19-31
Note a comment on seeing and believing and by believing having life as the conclusion, if you will, to the several episodes of believers with varying respects of faith, and varying responses (though all responses are fundamentally response of faith).
Not only did Jesus come back just to show himself to Thomas, but he came through locked doors to do exactly as Thomas had said that he might also believe. What condescension of a kind and meek shepherd to even weaker sheep! Christ our shepherd!
1. John believes by simply seeing the clothe. 2. Mary believes by seeing Jesus. 3. The disciples believe by seeing Jesus and his wounds. 4. Thomas believed by seeing Jesus and his wounds and by verifying these wounds by seeing and touching.
