It seems to me that this entire passage is based upon unity in Christ.
Ephesians 2:11-22
This is a very peculiar paragraph of Ephesians.
Ephesians 3:1-6
I believe that the central idea of this text is the emphasis on the one true  gospel.

This passage is really a demonstration of the superiority of the Son over the angels.

The revelation of God "in these last days" is  the person of Jesus Christ.

This is a very peculiar paragraph of Ephesians. It seems that Paul is making sure that his readers do understand the mystery of the unified body of Christ mentioned earlier in 2:11-22. Paul also uses this as an opportunity to encourage the Ephesian believers when they do go through tribulations, constantly referring to the grace given to him by God. Because God is constantly pouring out grace upon us we can take heart and endure trials and tribulation.
