Jesus invites those who are of childlike faith to come to Him and find rest from the legalistic way of earning salvation. Christ invites Him to find rest in His finished work in the new covenant.
Matthew 11:25-30
Then Jesus declared at that moment
h At that time Jesus declared,
Thank you Father.
“I thank you, Father,
Who is the Lord of all creation.
i Lord of heaven and earth,
Because you have not revealed your will to the wise of this world
that j you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding
But rather revealed it to those who come by child-like faith.
and k revealed them to little children;
By your gracious will
yes, Father, for such was your l gracious will. 1
That is because all things have been given to me by my Father
m All things have been handed over to me by my Father,
And no one knows the Son except the Father
and no one knows the Son n except the Father,
Moreover, no one knows the Father except the son
and no one knows the Father except the Son
And therefore anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.
and anyone o to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
Therefore, come to me
p Come to q me,
All you who are tired of the burden you carry
all who labor and are r heavy laden,
And I will give you rest
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you
Take my yoke upon you,
And learn from me.
and s learn from me,
Because I am gentle and lowly in heart
for I am t gentle and lowly in heart,
That you may find rest for your souls
and u you will find rest for your souls.
Because my yoke is easy
For v my yoke is easy,
And my burden is light
and my burden is light.”
Jesus thanks the Father because in His sovereign will He chose to reveal Himself to those who are weak and unwise, who comes to Him by faith.
Our Lord explains how this revelation of God is to be revealed. It is only through Christ.
Having proven that it is only by Christ that God is revealed to us (contrast to legalistic judaism) He now invites us to come to Him and find rest in His person and work.
Quits Sabio
I think verse 26 is the ground of verse 25.. The basis of election(ie. revealing to the little children) is HIs gracious will or in other translation, the pleasure of his will.
Quits Sabio
27c-27d should be grouped together. I thinks what's being said is that there are only two people or group who knows the Father, it is the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal the Father.

27b can still be divided before the word "except". The verb for that clause is implied.

27c can still be divided, before the word "except". The verb for that clause is implied.
