Notes
4:8 - All Creatures Continually Give God Glory for Who He Is - The living creatures represent all the power and wisdom of creation (humanity, wild beast, domestic animals, and birds). They tirelessly worship God by proclaiming that He is supremely set apart ('holy' 3x) as the eternal, unchanging, almighty Lord God. 4:9-11 - The Church Triumphant Responds by Glorifying God for What He Has Done 4:9 - The Living Creatures are giving glory, honor and thanks to the eternal King. 4:10-11 - This sparks the twenty-four elders (twelve patriarchs and twelve apostles; representing OT and NT church) to humbly worshiping the eternal King, proclaiming His worthiness to receive glory since He alone is the Saviour and Creator.
