Νῦν χαίρω ἐν τοῖς παθήμασιν ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν,
Now I rejoice in [my] sufferings for your sake ,
καὶ ἀνταναπληρῶ τὰ ὑστερήματα τῶν θλίψεων τοῦ Χριστοῦ ἐν τῇ σαρκί μου ὑπὲρ τοῦ σώματος αὐτοῦ,
and I fill up in my flesh that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ for the sake of His body ,
ὅ ἐστιν ἡ ἐκκλησία,

ἧς ἐγενόμην ἐγὼ διάκονος κατὰ τὴν οἰκονομίαν τοῦ θεοῦ τὴν δοθεῖσάν μοι εἰς ὑμᾶς
of which I was made a minister according to the stewardship of God [which is ] given to me for you ,
πληρῶσαι τὸν λόγον τοῦ θεοῦ,

[that is] the mystery which has been hidden for ages and from generations ,
⸀ νῦν δὲ ἐφανερώθη τοῖς ἁγίοις αὐτοῦ,
but now [the mystery] has been revealed to his saints ,
οἷς ἠθέλησεν ὁ θεὸς γνωρίσαι τί τὸ πλοῦτος τῆς δόξης τοῦ μυστηρίου τούτου ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν,
to whom God willed to make known what is the glorious riches of this mystery among the Gentiles,
⸀ ὅ ἐστιν Χριστὸς ἐν ὑμῖν,
which is Christ in you ,
ἡ ἐλπὶς τῆς δόξης·
[that is] the hope of glory .

νουθετοῦντες πάντα ἄνθρωπον
[by] warning every man
καὶ διδάσκοντες πάντα ἄνθρωπον ἐν πάσῃ σοφίᾳ,
and [by] teaching every man in all wisdom,

And towards which [purpose] I labor,
ἀγωνιζόμενος κατὰ τὴν ἐνέργειαν αὐτοῦ τὴν ἐνεργουμένην ἐν ἐμοὶ ἐν δυνάμει.
[by] struggling according to His activity that works in me powerfully.

Paul rejoices in his productive, Christ-revealing sufferings for His Body, which God has made him a minister of, to fulfill His hidden promise, now revealed, that Christ is the Gentiles' sure hope for glory.
Therefore, Paul tirelessly ministers by Christ's power to present everyone mature in Him.
