Main point summary
Because Christ has conquered, we who believe in him are no longer condemned! He has breathed life into his children through his Spirit and enabled them to walk according to the Spirit in order that they may live. This life is not yet free from groaning, for the whole world, as well as we believers, groans while awaiting the second coming of Christ. It is in this hope that we were saved. So let us persevere in the shadows of the dawn, receiving grace to help us in every time of need until the Son shines in his fullness and the foreknown, the predestined, the called, and the justified are finally glorified in him.

Now, thanks to God through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
So then, I, myself, on the one hand with my mind am serving the law of God
and on the other with my flesh [I am serving] the law of sin.
progression
Therefore nothing now [is] condemnation to those in Christ Jesus,
for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus set you free from the law of sin and death,
for the impotency of the law, on the basis of which, [it] was being weak through the flesh,
God, sending his own Son in the likeness of flesh of sin and concerning sin, [he] condemned sin in the flesh
situationresponse
in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us,
the ones who do not walk according to the flesh
but according to the Spirit,
negativepositive
ideaexplanation
for the ones being according to the flesh think in accordance with the flesh,
but the ones [being] according to the Spirit [think in accordance with] the Spirit,
for the way of thinking of the flesh [is] death,
but the way of thinking of the Spirit [is] life and peace
because the way of thinking of the flesh is at enmity unto God,
for to the law of God it does not submit,
for neither is it able.
ground
actionpurpose
Now, the ones being in the flesh are not able to please God.
You all, now, are not in the flesh,
but [you are] in the Spirit,
if indeed the Spirit of God is dwelling in you all.
Now, if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ,
this one is not of him.
inference
Now if Christ is in you all,
on the one hand the body is dead on account of sin,
on the other the Spirit is life on account of righteousness.
Now if the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead is dwelling in you all,
the one who raised Christ from the dead will make alive also your mortal body through his Spirit who dwells in you all.
So then, brothers and sisters, we are debtors.
[We are] not [debtors] to the flesh
in order to live according to the flesh,
for if you are living according to the flesh,
you are about to die.
Now, if by the Spirit, you are putting to death the works of the body,
you will live,
for as many as by the Spirit of God are being led,
these are sons of God,
for we did not receive the spirit of slavery again unto fear,
but we received the Spirit of adoption, in whom we are crying, "Abba, Father!"
The Spirit himself is bearing witness together with our spirit that we are children of God.
Now, if [we are] children,
[we] also [are] heirs,
on the one hand, heirs of God,
now on the other hand, fellow heirs of Christ,
if indeed we are suffering together
in order that we also might be glorified together,
for I am considering that not comparable [are] the sufferings of the present time to the glory about to be revealed unto us,
for the eager expectation of creation remains until the revealing of the sons of God,
for to futility the creation was subjected,
[it was] not [subjected] willingly,
but because of the one who subjected,
on the basis of hope
that also the creation itself will be set free from the slavery of corruption
unto the freedom of the glory of the children of God,
for we know that all creation is groaning together and is suffering together until now.
anticipationfulfillment
Now, not only this,
but also those having the first fruits of the Spirit,
we also ourselves, in ourselves, are groaning together,
awaiting adoption,
the liberation of our body,
for on the basis of hope we were saved.
Now, hope which is seen is not hope,
ὃ γὰρ βλέπει τίς ἐλπίζει;
for what person is hoping for what is being seen?
Now if what we are not seeing we are hoping for,
through endurance we are awaiting.
Now, in like manner, also the Spirit comes to aid in our weakness,
for what we should pray for, in so far as it is necessary, we do not know,
but the Spirit himself is interceding [on behalf of us] by means of groanings that cannot be expressed by words.
Now, the one who investigates hearts knows what the way of thinking of the Spirit [is],
that according to God he is interceding on behalf of the holy ones.
Now, we know
that, to those who are loving God, everything is working together unto good,
to those who are called according to purpose,
that those whom he foreknew,
he also decided beforehand conformity of the image of his Son,
in order that he would be the firstborn in many brothers.
bothand
Now, those whom he decided beforehand,
these he also called,
and those whom he called,
these he also made righteous.
series
Now, those whom he made righteous,
these he also glorified.
What kind of dative here?
το φρονημα του πνευματος in 8:27
το φρονημα του πνευματος in 8:6
The content of what is known in 28a. 23c seems to expand upon the first part of 28b (to those who are loving God), and 29–30 seems to expand upon the second part of 28b (everything is working together unto good)
