For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth,

οὐκέτι περὶ ἁμαρτιῶν ἀπολείπεται θυσία,

[then] there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,

φοβερὰ δέ τις ἐκδοχὴ κρίσεως

but a fearful expectation of judgment,

καὶ πυρὸς ζῆλος ἐσθίειν μέλλοντος τοὺς ὑπεναντίους.

and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries.
