Sermon Outline Title: Lazarus, Come Out! Big Idea: Christ is calling us to rise to new life in Him. 1. He comes to display His glory. (38-41a) 2. Trust in the One sent to save you. (41b-42) 3. Hear His voice calling you. (43-44)
Lazarus is powerless to save himself. Jesus stands at the stone ready to raise him up. He stands there... ready and able. We need only to trust Him. To recognize that we are dead in sin apart from Him. That only He can raise us up to life. He stands at the door of our church. We don't smell too good either. But he wants the stone to be rolled away that He might raise us up to new life.
