Introduction to the passage
There is a lot in this passage, but this week I was very much led to consider the reality that is projected by this passage. There is a Kingdom that is not of this world. The Lord is operating within the assumptions of that Kingdom reality. That is where He is leading us.

The world this pericope projects is one in which death does not reign supreme, all things are under the sovereign rule of God, all things work together for good and God's glory.
We are about to see that the sovereignty of God extends beyond life and death.
The supreme and absolute Sovereign, God himself, works all things for His glory! In the Kingdom of God... 1. Death does not reign supreme. (1-4) 2. All things are under God's rule. (5-10) 3. All things work together for good and God's glory! (11-16)
