Notes**
True religion which pleases God the Father does not consist in much pious, lofty talk about religious things and oneself but rather cinsists in caring for the poor nd in being holy (in other words: show yoour faith by your deeds don't just arrogantly talk about it) Speaking of religious matters and trying to impress people with words is no sure sign of true saving faith. In fact pretending to know so much about God and babbling on about it may lead to serious self deception when trust in the Gospel but your own works is the centre of your life. James sayssays that if you want to display genuine saving faith then do it by caringcaring for the poor and remairemaining set apart from this perverse world. This is pleasing to the Father.
