Who(referring to Christ), being in (the) form/essence of God, did not count to be equal with God, as something to hold onto, but emptied himself by taking on (the) form/essence of a slave, by becoming in (the) likeness of men and by being found with nature as human... Christ emptying of himself is not so much more about removing something but that of adding something, namely the human nature. "To empty" is being modified by the three participial phrases functioning as adverbials. He emptied himself in a manner of or by taking on the form of a slave, becoming like men, and being found in human nature. From September 30 2018 sermon, The mind of Christ : Model of True Humility
