I am new to arcing and would appreciate any thoughts/comments/corrections. Thanks! Paul tells the Colossians that since he has heard of what had happened to them, he has been praying that they would be filled with the knowledge of God's will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. This prayer is asked so that the Colossians would walk in a manner pleasing to the Lord. Paul describes this walk that is pleasing to God with the following actions. 1. Pleasing God in all respects 2. Bearing Fruit 3. Increasing in the knowledge of God 4. Being strengthed by God's power for steadfastness and patience 5. Giving joyous thanks to God for His salvation It is really amazing that "being filled with the knowledge of God's will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding" lead to such an awesome "walk".
