“Rise
and go toward the south 1 to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”

I. God gives desires so that people will seek Him. ---He did it to an Ethiopian. a. I was told before by a 7th Grade classmate that I cannot get saved because I am a Catholic. b. Instead of getting angry, God caused me to be jealous when that classmate said that she's sure of going to heaven. c. God gave me the desire to know Him more! II. God leads them the way to Him. ---He led the eunuch to Jerusalem. a. I was invited by another 7th grade classmate to join their Sunday Services. b. I began reading the bible because he let me borrow his personal Bible. c. I had my college at a university where I joined a campus ministry. III. God uses instruments to reach people. ---He used Philip to tell the gospel to the eunuch. a. God used my 7th grade classmate to stir my heart. b. God used my classmate to give me a glimpse of taste of the beauty of God's word. c. God used campus ministry at the University which I attended until senior year but sadly, it turned out that the ministry fell into the trap of false doctrines. d. God used people to help me get to the right meaning of the scriptures. IV. God gives understanding and faith. ---He made the eunuch understand and believe the scripture. a. It is God who opened my mind to gradually understand and believe the gospel. b. By faith, I believe that He is not done with me yet. I am still a work in progress.
