Worthy of Praise is the God and father of our Lord, (NAMELY) Jesus Christ. This statement made me ask "Why"? I know it is the antithesis to imply in arcing, but I thought 3a left me asking "why" so I implied a ground in 3b to 5e answering the "why" question. (FOR) ACCORDING to His great mercy he has caused us to be born again TO a living hope THROUGH the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead It was Christ's resurrection from the DEAD that was the means to be able to cause us to be born again.(Of course the Holy Spirit does the work, but the Spirit isn't mention explicitly here. ("THAT IS" 4a through 5e explaining our living hope) TO an imperishable, undefiled and unfading inheritance WHICH IS kept in heaven for you Who by God's power are being guarded THROUGH faith for the purpose of a salvation THAT IS ready to be revealed IN the last time. . Oft. the norm is at the same time the reason, so that in accordance with and because of are merged: Arndt, William, Frederick W. Danker, and Walter Bauer.
