The central idea is that if we have been raised with Christ, we are to seek and set our minds on the things above where our "lives" are hidden,that is, with Christ. Insights: If we are raised with Christ, we live with Him, who is at the right hand of God. If we are "living" there, we are to have our affections set and our desires, in the heavens. If we are to be living there, we can not be having our affections and desires focused on earthly things. The words "set your minds" and "seek" convey inclinations, desires, affections. It is a work that God does, a changing of the heart. IF we have been TRULY raised, we WILL have our affections changed in order to desire the things above and our affections inclined toward Christ in heaven where our lives are hidden.
