Main point summary
Do not think you can speak religiously ("Christianese") and expect to be considered truly religious. Rather, show your religion by spending time with the downtrodden in their time of need, and do not follow the practices of the world.

Notes**
It can be very easy to spend time with people and speak in such a way that you give the impression you understand the word of God. However, when we speak we must also consider what we do in light of what we speak. To proclaim the truths of God is good, but those truths may be damaged in the minds of unbelievers when we do not 'practice what we preach.' Therefore, we must first take care of the commands we have received to care for the outcast and the downtrodden; then we will truly know what we speak. In so doing, we guard ourselves from being polluted by the world because the worldly desire is to be seen in a certain light, in this case, religious.
