how does giving into the lust of the heart lead to impurity (uncleanness)? 1) lies about God, 2) worships, and 3) serves other gods BUT impurity can be cleansed and rectified (OT understanding of impurity/uncleanness). God has not given them up to the point of no hope. There is hope.
Those who dishonour in the Bible are often cursed or put to shame. Whereas, those who are in God are blessed or made whole - shame has been removed/set free.
