Main point summary
God is glorified in our salvation through faith in Christ, and therefore, we rejoice, because by faith he has given us 1) peace with Him, 2) fellowship with Him, and 3) the presence of the Holy Spirit, whom we have received as a reminder that in our suffering God loved us enough to save us, and thus, because He is the one who saved, He is also the one who will never forsake.

THEREFORE, we are filled with joy as people who have peace and fellowship with God that God will keep us to the end displaying His glory
Not only that,
AS A RESULT, our joy is NOT just fixated on the coming glory

BUT we also are filled with joy now as we suffer/are persecuted

BECAUSE we know that suffering helps us persevere
and endurance produces character,
THEN persevering builds up holiness

THEN holiness assures us that God will keep us till the end

No distinction - love poured into our hearts is the same as the Holy Spirit given to us. God's love manifests itself in our possession of His Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit testifies to us that God loves us.
1) We have peace with God 2) We are filled with joy at the assurance that God will accomplish His purposes 3) We are filled with joy because God seeks to accomplish those purposes through us by the aid of the Holy Spirit.
We rejoice because we have been justified by faith - both in the positive news (peace with God and access into His family) and in the difficult news (our suffering). In everything, we rejoice, because God has saved us.
