V. 11 At the 10,000 ft. level we know that God’s purpose for Israel’s trespass was so that salvation would come to the Gentiles. However, it seems that in this specific passage we are only getting the 1,000 ft level, so we see that as a result of Israel’s trespass, God has brought salvation to the Gentiles. God responded to Israel’s trespass with an amazing plan to win back his people. By saving Gentiles, Israel would become jealous and return to God.
