Means-End
For the ultimate goal of the praise of His glorious grace.
The grace, with which he blessed us in the beloved.
The beloved, in whom we have redemption through his blood.
That is, the forgiveness of transgressions.
We have, according to the riches of his grace.
Way-End
The grace, which he caused to abound in us in all wisdom and insight.
By making known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure.
His good pleasure, which He planned in Him.
For the purpose of administering the fullness of the times.
That is, to sum up all things in Christ, things on heaven and things on earth in Him.
Means-End
generalspecific
In Him also we were made heirs.
Because we have been predestined according to the plan of the one who works all things according to the counsel of His will.
In order that we, who hoped in Christ beforehand, might be to the praise of His glory.
In whom also you were sealed.
When you heard the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation, and when you believed.
By the promised Holy Spirit.
Who is the down payment of our inheritance.
Until the redemption of the saved remnant.
Means-End
To the praise of His glory.
