Notes**
Devotional Thoughts - It is very interesting that James brings up one's lack of control in regards to words when he criticizes the religion of others. For James, the tongue seems to be a vital part of holy living. (Which seems to be emphasized more in his letter.) - Christians need to be reminded that reaching out to the lowly has always been the mission (at least in part) of the Church
