Notes
[ Text block Take- aways: 1. The reason of John in writing this letter is to remind us to keep his commandments and be a doer of the Word of our Lord Jesus Christ so that we may not fall into sin. 2. And if someone sinned, God the Father has sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins by dying on the cross. In other words we have a mediator to God the FATHER. 3. And whoever says that he is in Christ and yet does not keep the word he is a liar and therefore he has no Christ. 4. As a beleivers we must always keep his commandments, his word and live in Obedience to it. And be an imitator of Christ in holiness and in righteousness for the glory of God. 5. It is so crucial that the people of God must know, must study, must obey and live by the word of God as our way of living. Questions? 1. Why is it that John address the beleivers as "My little Children "? in 1 John 2:1 Dear Lord, I'm praying that i may grow deeper and deeper in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus so that I may walk in holiness and righteousness. Thank you for sending Jesus as a sacrificial lamb for my sin. Thank you for the forgiveness. Truly you are so wonderful, amazing God that you save me from your wrath. Thank you for your word, thank you Holy Spirit for your guidance. Give me more patience and wisdom in studying the word. Amen. ]
