Notes**
Many believe that attending a church makes everything right between them and God. However, while God does indeed expect us to join together with brothers and sisters in Christ, a right relationship with the Lord also changes a person's everyday life. This change is especially demonstrated in our speech, our relationship to others, and our relationship to the world. So yes, we should be faithful in joining together with other believers to worship our loving God and Savior, but true religion goes much, much further than merely what we do on Sundays. Let's allow the transforming power of the gospel to change us on all days and not just on the first day of the week.
