Hope in Yahweh, Israel, the way I do: with calm confidence and humble trust.
Psalms 131:1-3
O Apo , inikkatkon ti kinapalangguadko;
Lord , my heart is not proud;
inwaksikon ti kinatangsitko.
my eyes are not haughty.
Diak maseknan
I don’t concern myself
kadagiti naindaklan a banag
with matters too great
wenno kadagiti nakaskasdaaw a diak matukod.
or too awesome for me to grasp.
Ngem mapnekak, awan pakaburiborak;
Instead, I have calmed and quieted myself,
kas iti ubing a naulimek iti saklot ni inana,
like a weaned child who no longer cries for its mother’s milk.
naulimek met ti pusok iti unegko.
Yes, like a weaned child is my soul within me.
O Israel, agtalekka iti Apo ,
O Israel, put your hope in the Lord —
ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν
ken iti agnanayon nga awan inggana.
and always.
