John 1:9-13
9 The true light, who gives light to everyone, 19 was coming into the world. 20 10 He was in the world, and the world was created 21 by him, but 22 the world did not recognize 23 him. 11 He came to what was his own, 24 but 25 his own people 26 did not receive him. 27 12 But to all who have received him - those who believe in his name 28 - he has given the right to become God’s children 13 - children not born 29 by human parents 30 or by human desire 31 or a husband’s 32 decision, 33 but by God.
Main point summary
In contrast to those who rejected the Creator Himself: Jesus - one of their own when He came, those who received Him became God’s very own children through a birth that is of God, one that isn't based upon bloodline but is entirely dependent upon His will.

John 1:9-13
n The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
Ang tunay na ilaw na nagbibigay-liwanag sa lahat ng tao ay dumating na sa mundo.
He was in the world,
Naparito siya sa mundo.
and the world was made through him,
At kahit na nilikha ang mundo sa pamamagitan niya,
yet o the world ^^^did not know^^^ him.
hindi siya kinilala ng mundo.
He came to p his own, 1
Pumunta siya sa sarili niyang mga kababayan,
( yet ) and q his own people 2 r ^^^did not receive^^^ him.
pero tinanggihan siya ng karamihan.
But to all who >>> did receive <<< him,
Ngunit ang lahat ng tumanggap
s who >>> believed <<< in his name,
at sumampalataya sa kanya
t ***he gave*** >>> the right <<< u to become v >>> children of God <<<,
ay binigyan niya ng karapatang maging anak ng Dios.
who w were born,
Naging anak sila ng Dios
x not of blood
hindi sa pamamagitan ng pisikal na pagkasilang
y nor of the ***will*** of the flesh
nor of the ***will*** of man,
o dahil sa kagustuhan ng tao
but of God.
kundi dahil sa kalooban ng Dios.

Nice topic brother..
Thanks sis. The popular misconception that everyone is a child of God just bothers me, then I remembered this passage from the apostle John.

Yeah. In our place, that misconception is one of the most believed concept. In our experience here, when we share that truth to others, most of them opposed us. Sad reality!
