Psalm 42
I am planning to complete and post my Psalm 42 arc by the end of this week.
Andy Hubert
Psalm 42 it is
Let's go with Rob's suggestion of Psalm 42 for our next passage.

Psalm 42
I would like to propose Psalm 42, especially so as to ponder how the psalmist responds to difficulties. i.e. Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.
Andy Hubert
Next passage
I know that I have yet to contribute an arc of Psalm 45 (Passover holiday and moving apartments have prevented me from being able to find the time), but nonetheless I think it is time to pick a new Psalm.

Does someone want to suggest the next Psalm to focus on?

Psalm 45
Let's run with Mike's suggestion. Go ahead and publish your work when complete.

How about Psalm 45?
I have a laundry list of psalms I'd like to dig into with the group and not sure which one to offer up... so how about Psalm 45, a royal wedding psalm, quoted in Hebrews 1:8-9 and possibly several other NT allusions.

How this group can work
I am glad to see a good number of those who have taken The Theology of Biblical Poetry joining this group. Feel freedom to invite others to join us as well.

My suggestion for how this group can work is to:

(1) have someone pick a psalm they are interested in
(2) invite everyone to do a page (arc, bracket, phrase, whatever) on that psalm
(3) have a discussion regarding what people find via comments
(4) when we are satisfied to move on, someone else can suggest another psalm

How does that sound?
